UMD near McKeldin Mall 08/25/20
This is the very first photo I took on campus. I was absolutely overjoyed to be at UMD, especially since I didn’t get to visit campus before I committed.
Zoe and I getting our flu shots 10/3/20
This is a picture of me and my friend Zoe Nicholson after we got our flu shots at the CVS in College Park. This is the first time either of us had gone to get shots alone, so we felt very independent after this.
My mom in my dorm room, Cumberland 6th floor 8/26/20
Pictured is my mom, Amy Stephenson, right after she basically set up my whole dorm room on move-in day. I wanted to get a picture to remember this day, and especially remember my room before it got messy. I spent a lot of time in this room during first semester.
My Qdoba in my dorm room 10/15/20
Food makes me very happy. I would often get Qdoba as a treat to myself after a hard day or a long assignment, and it always made me feel better.
Watching the debate 10/22/20
This is a picture of me watching the presidential debate in my dorm room and unfortunately, there is a glare on Donald’s face. This was a very important year politically, so I wanted to stay up to date. If it wasn’t for covid, I’d probably be watching the debate in a less depressing setting, but I did what I could!

This was our first in-person class since last March before the pandemic, and we were both really excited- it made our whole day just to see everyone.
Art in Washington D.C. 9/26/20
This is one of the fences right next to Black Lives Matter Boulevard in D.C. I’m so glad we have the privilege of being so close to D.C, especially during this social movement. Seeing all the protest art in person really moved me, and this was one of my favorites.

Memorial Chapel from far side of McKeldin Mall 10/7/20
I woke up very early to go out with my Canon camera, and this is one of my favorite pictures from that day. The memorial chapel is one of my favorite pieces of architecture on campus, and this picture puts me at ease whenever I look at it.
My friends and me at brunch 11/15/20
This is a picture of my friends and I going out to brunch at The Hall in College Park, before we all left for Winter Break. We were very lucky to form such a great friend group so early on.
